WikiChat & messages
Four channels, one screen: under Messages you write privately to other managers, banter with your league, your country or the whole world – automatically translated, with emotes and a filter that keeps the tone civil.
The four tabs
- Inbox: your private messages (PMs) as conversations, newest on top. A tick behind your message shows the recipient has read it. Start a new conversation via the manager search (the app suggests names from two letters on) or straight from a manager profile. The Support thread is your line to the KoF team.
- League: every manager in your league – the place for jibes before the derby.
- Country: every manager whose club plays in your country.
- World: the whole world. Only managers who run a club can post.
Reading & history
- The counters on the tabs show how many messages are new since your last visit – every chat remembers your read marker.
- A chat opens at the first unread message ("Unread messages" bar), day separators keep things tidy. "Load older messages" pulls the history in blocks of 20; new messages arrive on their own every 20 seconds.
- In the group chats each message carries name and club. Tapping the name opens the manager profile – from there you send a PM or add the manager as a friend.
Automatic translation
The group chats are translated into your app language (German, English, Turkish, French, Spanish). A tag next to the time (e.g. "TR") tells you the original language when it differs from yours. Translation only happens when someone reads the message in another language – if it ever fails, you see the original. Private messages are never translated (privacy).
Emotes
Just type the codes into your text or use the smiley button in the input bar:

Rules, filter & reporting
- Profanity filter: swear words in all five app languages are replaced by asterisks when you send – permanently. The filter also catches spaced-out spelling ("S H I T") and number tricks ("sh1t"). Older messages are filtered on display as well.
- Reporting: press and hold a message → Report message. The support team reviews every case.
- Chat ban: rule breakers are banned for a limited time – from PMs, from the group chats or from both. Trying to write then shows "You have been (temporarily) banned from the chat system."
- HTML is stripped from messages – there is no formatting, but there are the emote codes above.
