Friends & Friendlies
Football is best with rivals you actually know: on the Friends screen you invite mates into the game (and earn slush fund rewards for it), follow your friends in a private ranking – and challenge them to friendlies, the risk-free proving ground for your tactics.
The Friends screen
You'll find it in the menu under Friends. Three things happen here:
- Ranking: your friends and you as a private leaderboard – sorted by position in your world's overall points ranking. For each friend you also see where their club currently stands: league table position, cup round, international competition.
- Invite: your personal invitation code with a share function (see below).
- Matches: your friendlies – upcoming fixtures, open challenges and the latest results.
You collect friends in two ways: open any manager's profile (e.g. from a ranking or a club page) and add them as a friend – that's your personal watchlist. Or you recruit someone with your code: then you become friends automatically, both ways.
Refer a friend
Inviting someone is this simple:
- Share your personal invitation code – via WhatsApp, the share function or simply copied.
- Your friend downloads the app, picks a club and enters the code during sign-up ("Invitation code" field).
- As soon as the code is redeemed you're automatically friends – and the rewards start flowing.
| Milestone | Your reward (slush fund) |
|---|---|
| Friend redeems your code at sign-up | 5,000 – instantly |
| Friend is still active after 50 days | 10,000 on top |
The 15,000 per recruited friend is one of the few ways to fill your slush fund without real money – and you gain lasting rivals on top. There's no limit: every redeemed code counts.
Setting up friendlies
There are two ways to arrange a friendly:
- Challenge a friend: you send a friend a direct challenge with your preferred kick-off. If they accept, the match is on.
- Post an open slot: you set date, time and a strength range (average strength of the opponent's top 15). Any matching club in your world can accept the slot via the opponent search – so you'll always find a game on eye level, even without a friends list.
Matches are played every half hour between 06:00 and 18:00, and slots can be set for today and tomorrow. The result and full match report appear on the Friends screen as usual.
What friendlies do – and what they don't
Friendlies are deliberately consequence-free – the perfect sandbox:
- No injuries and no suspensions – cards shown in the match have no consequences.
- No money flows: no ticket income, but also no appearance, goal or points bonuses.
- No stats entries: goals don't count towards top-scorer lists or player statistics.
- But: every friendly that goes ahead earns both managers +1 point in the overall points ranking.
Use friendlies as your tactics lab: a new formation, a different approach, a youth player in an unfamiliar position – try anything here without risking injuries, suspensions or table points. Before big cup or international weeks this is worth gold.
Friends screen = private ranking + invite + friendlies · share your invitation code, your friend enters it at sign-up → automatically friends · reward: 5,000 slush fund instantly, +10,000 after 50 days of activity · friendlies via challenge or open slot (strength filter), every half hour 06:00–18:00 · consequence-free (no injuries/suspensions/finances), but +1 manager point for both.
