Push notifications

Your club keeps playing even when the app is closed. So you don't miss the moments that matter, KoF reports straight to your lock screen if you want it to – when the final whistle goes, when an auction has been settled or when an award is waiting for you. And you decide exactly what you get told about.

Switching on & setting up

Notifications are entirely optional: on first launch you're asked once whether KoF may send you messages – say no and everything simply stays quiet. In the settings you'll then find the "Push notifications" section at any time, where you can change it all again, right up to switching it off completely. If you log in on several devices, each device gets its own settings – and the texts always arrive in the language set on that particular device.

The three categories

You switch the three areas on and off individually:

CategoryWhat arrives
Match resultsThe final whistle of each of your competitive matches – with the result and whether it brought points. Also the matches of your national team if you hold a coaching post.
TransfersAuctions that concern you: one of your players has been sold, you've won the bidding – or someone has outbid you.
Club news & awardsEverything around your club: a new club after an application, a new special ability out of training, your assistant coach taking over, the Ballon d'KoF, the top scorer crown, minigame season prizes as well as your appointment and titles as a national coach.

Spoiler protection

Plenty of managers like to take in the match report at their own pace – ticker, chances, ratings – and don't want to know the result beforehand. That's exactly what the spoiler protection switch is for: with it active the app still reports the final whistle, but without the goals. Instead of "Win! 3-1" you'll only read that the match has finished and the report is ready.

Tip

Spoiler protection only applies to the notification itself. If you then open the app and go via the home screen, you'll see the result as usual – so it can't spoil your anticipation of the ticker, but it can't hide anything you call up yourself either.

Tapping takes you straight there

Every notification knows where it belongs: a match result opens the match report, a transfer message the transfer market, club news lands in your inbox. If you play in several worlds, the app automatically switches to the right world – no need to click your way through first.

In brief

Push notifications are optional and split into three: match results, transfers and club news. Spoiler protection reports the final whistle without the result, so the match report stays exciting. Tapping takes you straight to the right screen – across worlds too. All of it can be changed in the settings at any time.
