Staff – assistant coach & statistician
Two professionals strengthen the team behind your team: the assistant coach for match day and the statistician for data analysis. Both are booked in the club area and always run until the end of the season: a full season costs 30,000 from the slush fund, later bookings cost proportionally less by remaining days (statistician: at least 15,000).
The assistant coach
The assistant doesn't just catch up on forgotten training – he can run your whole match day. About two hours before kick-off he checks each of your matches and only steps in where you haven't set anything yourself:
- Lineup: he fields your last eleven including formation. Injured, suspended or departed players are replaced by the strongest available squad member – ideal position first.
- Bench: he fills the bench up to six. If the backup keeper is missing, the best free goalkeeper comes first, then talents take priority (under 23, talent average above 90, strength above 50).
- Substitutions: your planned subs from the last match are carried over where still valid – and topped up to five planned subs (minute 80, talents first, never the keeper).
- Tactics: he compares both teams' best-eleven strength and rates the match – favourite (from +4), even or underdog (from −4) – and applies the tactic template you assigned to that category.
Lineup and tactics automation can be toggled separately and you pick the category mapping yourself. And the assistant never overwrites your own settings – the moment you touch a match, it's yours.
The statistician
The statistician unlocks the stats centre – reachable via the analysis button in league, cup and international views:
- All-time table, title collectors, club analysis and trend barometer – for your league, your country or the whole world.
- Head-to-head: the record of the last 15 meetings in every club view.
- International history and the full Ballon d'KoF history of past seasons.
