Applications & club changes
Fancy a new, bigger club? You change clubs via applications – but every move costs transfer points from the manager ranking. Plan cleverly and you'll land your dream club.
Process
Once a club becomes free, it is first blocked for one application round. After that it is awarded to the applicant with the most points in the manager ranking – minus the cost of previous club changes. Clubs with no applicants are then released to new managers too.
Cost per move
- A move without competition costs a fixed flat deduction of your transfer points.
- For contested clubs, half the transfer points of the second-best applicant are deducted.
You can only apply for one club at a time. After a move there's also a waiting period before you can change again.
Search
The search shows all clubs currently up for award. When choosing a club you see key data like strength, stadium size, squad value and balance – a big name is no use if the coffers are empty.
Use your transfer points deliberately: better to "save up" for a worthwhile club than to burn them on every small move. Check squad value and finances of the target club before moving.
