Fancy a new, bigger club? In the club exchange you can search through every available club in the world – from the vacant club with a proud tradition to the full-blown rescue job. The move itself doesn't cost a transfer fee but transfer points from your manager ranking. Plan cleverly and you'll land your dream club.
The club exchange
The exchange shows every club as a card with crest, country and town plus the four numbers that matter: club strength, stadium capacity, squad value and balance – a big name is no use if the coffers are empty. A negative balance is marked in red.
You have four tools for narrowing things down: the confederation filters (Europe, America, Africa, Asia & Oceania), a country menu with the number of hits per country, a search by club name or town and five sort options: strength, stadium, squad value, balance or name. Clubs are loaded in blocks of 24.
Every club also carries a status badge that tells you how to get your hands on it:

How an application works
When a club becomes free, an award process over two days starts. During that time any number of managers can apply; every night at midnight the award is decided. The club goes to the applicant with the most points in the manager ranking, everyone else gets a rejection in their inbox. You can only ever apply for one club at a time and can withdraw your application whenever you like.
If nobody comes forward, the club only moves into the vacant pool if it isn't too strong on the pitch – top clubs stay in the award process rather than becoming free pickings. And when you move on yourself, your previous club goes up for award for a day, so your successor gets a fair shot at it.
Cost & waiting period
- A move without competition costs a fixed flat deduction (100 points) – that also applies when you take over a vacant club directly.
- For contested clubs, half the transfer points of the second-best applicant are deducted (at least 100 points).
- After a move a waiting period of 14 days applies before you may change clubs again. The app shows you the remaining days directly.
Turning indebted clubs around
Clubs with a negative balance are a category of their own: they stay in the exchange permanently, but can only be taken over by managers with the Mancini "The Fixer" – and then straight away, with no award process. The price for that freedom: the Fixer's club switching lock runs to 50 days instead of 14. So anyone taking on a rescue job should want to see it through.
Your very first club
After picking a name and a world, new managers land in the very same exchange – with the same filters, but showing the vacant clubs only. Here too it pays to look into the club info: strength and stadium size shape your start, and a solid balance gives you room for your first transfers.
Use your transfer points deliberately: better to "save up" for a worthwhile club than to burn them on every small move. Check the squad value and finances of the target club before you move – and remember that you're then tied down for 14 days.
